Louis Rousselet was a famous adorner who worked during the interwar period for Haute Couture ( Chanel; Schiaparelli, Pierre Balmain…) and the Music Hall ( Mistinguett ) and was renowned for the exquisite quality of his production and his own technic of stained glass flowers. This unsigned brooch ( all the pieces had only paper tags ) is a perfection and a great example of his work : glass beads and flowers, cut metal folliage, plus the originality of a setting on a clear lucite bunch. Collector’s piece.
